I don't know about the laughing thing BUT I watched the Royal Tanenbaums this weekend and there something about the scene at the end when Royal gives the dog to ben stiller's character and stiller's character says "It's been a tough year dad." Something in his voice right then the way it sounded actually made me get all teary. Don't know why it just did.
The ones I *always* go back to when I want to laugh are L.A. Story (my favoritest romantic comedy ever) and Real Genius (which I quote more than any other single movie).

Laughing: Eddie Izzard, The God of Cookery (and probably Shaolin Soccer, but I haven't seen that yet.) The Big Hit.
And, for some of both; Four Weddings and a Funeral.

To laugh? I second Real Genius, add a vote for Wayne's World, and also suggest Saved!, Empire Records and Can't Hardly Wait.
If laughter through tears is your favorite emotion, you can't wrong with Steel Magnolias. Ever. Always a winner.

She'd probably like an un-animated one, and has told me that she likes flowers, angels, sunsets, and the ocean.
I was thinking of making her an icon of a sunset on the ocean in which an angel is swimming with a bouquet of daffodils(lol aren't I funny?).
No, for real... I've been looking and can only find icons that are gothy(she's christian and a mommy) or of sexy, sexy celebrities. Help?

And I have a fondness in my heart for Old School.
There's always anything involving Muppets.

Crying: The Notebook
Though if you watch Mortal Kombat instead you'll neither laugh nor cry, but instead air-chop karate style all night.

Want a good cry? Tape your eyelids open and go see the new Star Wars flick.
